Paws Land (毛家) Community Series | A mini film festival
We are curating a short film program to screen before Paws Land (毛家) at The Cinematheque, Vancouver and we are looking for submissions from the community.
We are calling it a visual letter: a short film addressed to your animal.
When did you last tell your animal how much you love them? This morning? Grab the chance to say it on a cinema screen! Let’s use your creativity, sincerity, or just make it in your way!
Selected works will be presented in cinema before the screening of Paws Land at The Cinematheque, Vancouver, on May 23, 2026.
Submission Guidelines
- Length: 20 seconds
- Format: MP4 or MOV
- Resolution: 1920 × 1080 (Full HD) or higher
- Orientation: Landscape (horizontal)
- Audio: clear and audible
- Deadline: April 26, 2026
If you have an original song on Spotify written for your animal, we want to hear it. Selected songs will play as the opening playlist at The Cinematheque on May 23, 2026, with screen credit.
